Katherine Roden is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She received her Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from the Institute for the Psychological Sciences. She has a heart for helping individuals heal through the counseling process and invites them to learn to live healthy and flourishing lives.
Katherine has worked with families in the past providing individual and group therapy and enjoys working with children of all ages as well as adolescents and adults. She also appreciates opportunities to work with families and delights in helping them cope with all of life's stressors and strengthen their relationships.
Katherine sees children, adolescents and adults for a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, relationships, behavior, self-esteem, ADHD, and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. She utilizes Child-Centered Play Therapy and art therapy with children and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy techniques with adolescents and adults, and a neurobehavioral approach with clients with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. As a Catholic, Katherine believes in the dignity of every person, as well as creating treatment goals that strengthen all aspects of a client's life. She welcomes the opportunity to integrate faith-based approaches with clients who request it.
In her spare time, Katherine enjoys being with family and friends, reading, going to great restaurants and hiking.
Katherine offers afternoon and evening hours for the convenience of her clients.
