Joseph (Jody) Frey is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Minnesota as well as Colorado. He has a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Factor’s Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is working towards becoming a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a Jack Canfield Certified Success Coach.
Jody has a passion for helping teens and their families recover from trauma. He has a unique background which enables him to successfully work with teens, couples, and families. For nearly 25 years, he has served in leadership roles guiding and building people while helping them achieve their goals. Over the last 7 years as a therapist, Jody has focused more on helping teens in trauma situations return to a life that serves a purpose and is rewarding. Jody also enjoys seeing couples and strives to keep families together. Jody is a narrative therapist who uses solution focused therapy techniques in a very interactive manner. Jody brings a faith filled Christian background with him. In addition to teens, his areas of interest are: trauma, depression, anxiety, family stress, self-esteem, anxiety, OCD, and forgiveness.
Jody has been married for over 25 years and has successfully raised and launched two children. If he isn’t working, he will likely be playing video games or with his family.
