Marisa Erickson

Marisa Erickson is a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Capella University. She also has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University Of Wisconsin River Falls.

Marisa is passionate about working with adolescents and adults on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and stress-management. She draws from a variety of theoretical approaches including cognitive behavioral and solution-focused. Interventions and techniques are tailored to best fit the needs of the client.  She believes in a total wellness approach incorporating spiritual, emotional, mental and physical health.

Marisa believes her personal relationship with God guides her in her personal and professional life.  She welcomes the opportunity to integrate faith into the counseling process.

In her spare time Marisa enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys performing modifications and repairs on her classic 2000 Subaru RS car. Weekends in the spring and summer are often spent attending local classic and modern car shows.
